With this rear carrier polyurethane insert you will find measurable differences from rubber like shifter insertion to a more solid and satisfying gear selection. This rubber like sensation comes from the lack of structure in the current carrier installed on the G8X platform. Our product aims to reuse the carrier but fills in the gaps and mitigating flex during shifter operation. This product is made in the USA.
 
Install:
The installation of our product is easy. Locate the carrier that is being held in by 2 star fasteners while easier you should not have to remove the heat shield. Once you removed the carrier install the polyurethane cone over the carrier and position the teeth correctly to the inside do not use grease as the cones requires a friction fit otherwise can possibly slip out on reinstallation.
